Current MVP choice set

Browser picks for the current MVP path

AdsPower is the primary guided path for this tutorial. OctoBrowser stays visible only as a secondary alternative.

Primary recommendation

AdsPower

AdsPower is the main walkthrough path because the free tier and cleaner onboarding make it the better MVP starting point for this funnel.

Secondary alternative

Octo Browser

OctoBrowser is a valid secondary option, but this tutorial stays on AdsPower so the path remains simple and consistent.

Section 1

What your browser reveals about you

Every time you visit a website, your browser shares a unique combination of signals - screen resolution, installed fonts, graphics card, timezone, language settings, and dozens more. Together, these form a fingerprint that can identify you across sessions, even without cookies.

Why this matters

Ad networks, platforms, and analytics services use fingerprinting to track users across the web. If you're accessing global financial platforms, you want to control what information your browser exposes. An anti-detect browser gives you isolated profiles so identities do not bleed together.

Section 2

Why we recommend AdsPower

AdsPower is one of the most popular anti-detect browsers, with a free tier that gives you enough to get started. It runs on top of Chromium, so extensions, bookmarks, and browser workflows feel familiar.

Checklist

Why AdsPower is the main path here

Section 3

Download and install AdsPower

Start with the official AdsPower flow, install the desktop app, and create the first account that will be stored in 1Password.

Walkthrough step

Download AdsPower from the official site

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Go to adspower.com through our partner link. Click 'Free Download' and choose your operating system (Windows or macOS). The installer is a standard application - no browser extension, no command-line tools.

Planned caption

Download directly from adspower.com - avoid third-party download sites.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the homepage screenshot and highlight the exact download button used in the clean beginner flow.

Walkthrough step

Install and create your account

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Run the installer. After installation, open AdsPower and create an account using your email. Use 1Password to generate and store a strong password for this account. Verify your email.

Screenshot slot

AdsPower registration

Screenshot pending: AdsPower registration screen

Planned alt text

Planned caption

This is your first real use of the 1Password workflow: generate password, save entry, move on.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the registration screenshot and show where the user creates the account and stores the password.

Tip: Open 1Password, generate a password, save the entry, then paste it into AdsPower. That same workflow repeats for every account later in the funnel.

Section 4

Create your first browser profile

A profile in AdsPower is a completely isolated browser environment with its own cookies, storage, fingerprint, and later its own proxy. Think of each profile as a separate computer.

Walkthrough step

Click New Profile

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

In the AdsPower dashboard, click 'New Profile' or the '+' button. You'll see a profile creation form with several tabs. Do not be overwhelmed - most defaults are fine. We only configure what matters.

Screenshot slot

New profile entry

Planned alt text

Planned caption

Each profile is an isolated browser. You'll create one dedicated to prediction markets.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the dashboard screenshot and mark the exact place where the user starts profile creation.

Walkthrough step

Name your profile

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Give the profile a clear name you'll recognize, such as 'Prediction Markets' or 'PM Main.' If you create more profiles later, this makes them easy to distinguish.

Screenshot slot

Profile naming

Planned alt text

Planned caption

Keep names simple and recognizable. You'll open this profile every time you trade.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the naming screenshot and show the kind of simple profile name the tutorial recommends.

Walkthrough step

Choose a browser core

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

AdsPower will ask you to select a browser core such as SunBrowser or FlowerBrowser. Choose SunBrowser. It has better extension compatibility, and MetaMask works best on Chromium.

Screenshot slot

Browser core selection

Planned alt text

Planned caption

SunBrowser means Chromium - better extension support, better compatibility with prediction market platforms.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the browser-core screenshot and show clearly that SunBrowser is the recommended option.

Walkthrough step

Configure the operating system fingerprint

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

In the profile settings, find the Basic Info or Fingerprint section. Set the operating system to match your actual OS family, such as Windows or macOS. The exact version does not need to match, but the OS family should.

Screenshot slot

OS fingerprint setting

Screenshot pending: fingerprint settings showing operating system selection

Planned alt text

AdsPower fingerprint settings showing operating system selection

Planned caption

Match the operating system family to your actual system. Everything else can stay randomized.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the fingerprint settings screenshot and point to the OS selector only.

Tip: For canvas, WebGL, fonts, and screen resolution, keep the default automatic or random settings. Manual tweaking rarely helps and can make the fingerprint less natural.

Walkthrough step

Skip proxy for now - you'll add it in Step 2

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

The profile creation form includes a Proxy section. Leave it set to No Proxy or Direct Connection for now. You'll configure the proxy in the next step of the guide after your proxy service is ready.

Screenshot slot

Planned caption

You'll come back to this field in Step 2. For now, leave it empty.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the proxy-section screenshot and make it clear that the user should not configure proxy here yet.

Note: This is a good place to keep a visible handoff reminder to the next step of the funnel.

Walkthrough step

Save and launch the profile

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Click Save or OK to create the profile. Back in the dashboard, you'll see your new profile listed. Click Open or Launch to start it. A new browser window opens - this is your isolated environment.

Screenshot slot

Profile launch

Screenshot pending: AdsPower dashboard showing the new profile with Open button

Planned alt text

Planned caption

Hit Open. A new browser window launches - this is your isolated prediction market environment.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the dashboard screenshot and highlight the control that launches the newly created profile.

Warning: Do not turn this page into a giant anti-detect setup manual. The only goal here is one clean, working profile.

Section 5

Verify your setup works

Once the profile is running, confirm that it actually looks different from your regular browser. This builds trust in the tool before you move on.

Walkthrough step

Check your fingerprint inside the AdsPower profile

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Inside the AdsPower browser, go to browserleaks.com. Look at the canvas fingerprint hash, WebGL renderer, screen resolution, and timezone. These should differ from what you'd see in your regular browser.

Screenshot slot

BrowserLeaks inside AdsPower

Screenshot pending: BrowserLeaks results inside the AdsPower browser

Planned alt text

Planned caption

Different canvas hash, different WebGL renderer - your fingerprint is isolated.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the BrowserLeaks screenshot and point out the key values the user should compare.

Walkthrough step

Compare with your regular browser

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Open browserleaks.com in your regular browser, not inside AdsPower. Compare the canvas hash, WebGL, and other values. They should be clearly different. If they are, your anti-detect browser is working correctly.

Screenshot slot

Comparison with regular browser

Screenshot pending: BrowserLeaks results in regular browser shown against AdsPower results

Planned alt text

BrowserLeaks results in regular Chrome showing different fingerprint values compared to AdsPower

Planned caption

Different fingerprint means isolated identity. Your regular browser and AdsPower profile look like two different computers.

Instruction placeholder

Later, insert the comparison screenshot and explain how the user should verify that the key values differ.

Warning: If the fingerprints are identical, something is misconfigured. Go back to profile settings, confirm randomization is enabled, and reopen the profile after changes.

Section 6

Managing your profile going forward

A few practical things matter now that the profile exists. These habits keep the isolated environment clean for the rest of the funnel.

Walkthrough step

Understand profile persistence

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

When you close the AdsPower profile window, your session data, cookies, logins, extensions, and bookmarks are saved automatically. Next time you open the same profile, everything is where you left it.

Walkthrough step

One profile means one identity

Click-by-click slot

Instruction

Each profile is a separate identity. Do not log into personal accounts such as Gmail or Facebook inside your prediction market profile. Keep each profile dedicated to one purpose.

Important habit

Cross-contaminating profiles is the most common mistake. If you connect your personal accounts inside this profile, you weaken the whole point of browser isolation.

Section 7

Alternative: OctoBrowser

OctoBrowser is another reputable anti-detect browser with similar capabilities. If AdsPower does not suit your workflow or is not available in your region, OctoBrowser is a solid alternative. The concepts are the same - create a profile, configure fingerprint, add proxy later. The interface differs, but the logic is similar.

Secondary alternative

This guide uses AdsPower because of its free tier and beginner-friendly onboarding. OctoBrowser remains visible as a reputable fallback, but it does not change the main click-by-click path of this tutorial.
